We are starting our seventh week of the trip. Between the two of us we have bicycled about 2000 miles. Wow Seaside seems like a long time ago and we are about half way if not more. We are looking forward to visiting with family in Michigan in less than two weeks.
We slept in, went to church at the Howard Lake Christian Church, and then Lee made chicken tacos for us for lunch. Jon and Lee thank you so much for all of your hospitaily. The place to stay and the meals were great and much appreciated!
It was about a two hour drive from Howard Lake back to Milaca. Riding was good toward although we missed a turnoff for county road 10 outside of Milaca. We stopped for directions and Ron was nice enough to give us an alternative route to Dalbo which was about 10 miles. It worked great thank you Ron. After riding we stopped at Walmart in Cambridge for some food. Kelli, who works there asked about what we were doing (in a nice way) as we were both wearing our fluorescent yellow shirts. It is nice when people express interest.
Tomorrow we will make our way into Wisconsin and we will be traveling across the northern part of the state.
