We got an early start today which we were very happy about.  The weather was cool, around 63, to start the day but warmed up quickly.  We followed 'Old 27' for the first part of the ride today.  At first the road was good with a good shoulder.  Later it was pretty choppy and there was no shoulder but also very little traffic which made it easy to follow.  To end the day we found a bike trail which was a nice way to finish up.  Since we knew that we would be near bike shops in Ann Arbor we continued to switch out the rear tires on the bikes since one was flat and we did not want to take the time at that point to fix it.

In the afternoon it was necessary to take care of our vehicle which needs new tires.  We got some new ones at Costco in Livonia on the way to Ann Arbor and got to Mom's house at about 7pm!
