August 20 - day 56 Saturday
Today was a rest day with family! Mom cooked us blueberry pancakes this morning which we really appreciated and were really good. Thank you Mom! My Sister Susie setup radio interview over the phone with Dale Gaertner from WLEN in Adrian, MI. It was another good interview and we got to share information about our trip. Thank you Dale and Ann.
Yesterday, Susie setup an interview over the phone with Dennis Pelham from the Daily Telegram in Lenawee County. I did the interview yesterday and then Vikki Smucker came by Susie and Mike's house for a picture. It should run in Monday's paper. We visited with some friends that Susie had invited over and we shared some information about our trip so far. We appreciate everyone's continued support! Susie and Mike even picked up ice cream cakes and cooked dinner. Thank you so much Susie and Mike! Home cooked meals are so nice when you have been eating out or making sandwiches most everyday for about 2 months.
Tomorrow and possibly Monday will be rest days. We are debating whether to head across Canada to Buffalo or go around through Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
