It was another beautiful day for riding. Highs in the upper seventies, wind out of the North/Northeast much calmer than yesterday. After spending the night in Chatham we had breakfast at the St. Clair Restaurant in town. It looked like an older style diner where the waitress seemed to know everyone's name and I saw at least one person ordering as they sat down. I took a photo of one of the dial phones not sure if it actually works any longer.
People have been very friendly in Ontario. We met Ann and her niece Tricia outside of Port Charles today. Ann asked what we were doing as she had seen cyclists come through before but not being followed by a car. They had a farm right there and generously offered us to stay if we wanted but we declined. We got much needed showers in Port Bruce at the Bee Line RV park. Thank you Jerry!
Tomorrow our route takes us along Lake Erie which we traveled by a little bit today but we should be traveling along the coast a bit more tomorrow!
