Miles - 20
Start - 1115am

Weather - mid nineties.
It was hot. Marcee rode today and did great. I rested my knee today. The road was mostly flat and Marcee drank a lot of water probably about 5 or 6 pints.
We met a fellow cross country rider from today Sholto Douglas from Austrailia. He started the Transamerica from Wasxhington DC on April 6th. He had a Surly bike like us as well. He gave me some riding advice which I hope will help my knee.
We drove into Hermiston , OR as we are staying at the RV Park again tonight. We took our bikes in for a checkup at Scott's cycle shop. They were very helpful checked our bikes over and put air in the tires which turned out to be about 32 pounds low ononeofthe tires. Thank you for your help Steve and the other person who was working.
As we sat down for dinner at Chem's chinese restaurant I looked at my found and read a text From Loretta that our 17 year old cat Belle died today. It was not unexpected because she had poor kidneys but it was unexpected how quickly it happened. Thank you Loretta and Gerald for taking care of her.
Thank you for your prayers and support for us on this trip. I will post more pictures when I figure out how to upload from my iPad to the Internet. Hopefully soon. Gos bless you!
